Following growing concerns by residents in the area regarding threats to personal safety and continued praedial larceny, the CB Group led a team of donors including Atelier-Vidal Ltd. to facilitate the construction of a modern Police Post.
Atelier-Vidal Ltd. donated its services for the design of a modern Police Post in Hill Run, St. Catherine, following growing concerns by residents in the area regarding threats to personal safety and continued praedial larceny. The CB Group, who operate their Imagination Farms in the area, facilitated the construction and led a team of donors to ensure the Police Post was outfitted with modern amenities and communications capabilities. The design was simple in its approach, and uses a horizontal sun-screen at the main façade to provide an canopied entrance, which also reduces the heat gain on the building by placing the building in shade most of the day. This has already made large savings in the energy consumption of the building.
